Rashford thinks we're not allowed to complain about England's performance.

I like Rashford, I like what he's done, but sorry, we pay your wages (without the fans you'd not be paid); if we're not happy, we tell you. Deal with it.

Not the most exciting of games. Neither side playing with the precision you'd expect of the Swiss or the flair of the Brazilians. :(

Only seen the 2nd half and quite enjoyed it. Frustrated in some of the passing but was not that bad a game. The Swiss defence were trying to commit suicide at the end of the 90 minutes but i think the best team won.

Back 30 years ago I was a passionate fan who loved football, went to every match at Anfield for 15+ years.

These days I barely watch it. The game is dead to me, a large part of that is VAR

It has it's place. Imagine a dodgy goal in a World Cup Final (1966). Using VAR could give the right result. Winner

But every single top flight game ? nah

I dont mind it but... Its taking far to long to make the decisions. The man/men upstairs who are watching the replay almost straight away should make the call. This standing with his finger in his ear for over a minute just to run to a screen and watch it again is the game killer. Having that shit five or six times a game is taking the momentum away from the players.

That should never have been said to the referee to check it.

But then for him to give it after seeing it. Pathetic

i would like to see Ball to hand rules out TBH as that is no fault of the player but yes. The guy had no where to go with his hand. Its natural to put your hand down to save yourself from more harm but then i thought the ref was shocking through the match. Having said that it cant be easy being a ref between to teams of cheating diving bastards.

Think I've overdosed in it. Not finding any games particularly exciting, maybe tomorrow evenings events will turn it around. 😉

2-0 but i think it'll be a dire game... Wales not good enough and England too cautious... I can see it being a shocker.

I think that there have been enough unexpected results so far in this WC to suggest that England may pull off a shock win. :P

Took almost 20 minutes of play for a Welsh player to touch the ball in the English half ….. I think they call that “playing for the counter attack” lol
