Re: Dakar
Tough class is quite an understatement.
I follow the Dakar every year and seems they have gone back to calling it Malle Moto after a couple of years calling it "Original sponsored by Motul"
All your kit/tools/spares in a box the organisers carry from each bivouac to the next one. The riders often try and get one of the bigger teams to carry spare tyres and that sort of shit for them but need to be careful to avoid any "outside assistance" which will disqualify them.
I know Hillier has been getting some advice from Lyndon Poskitt who has done the Dakar 3 times, Malle moto class twice and finished 2nd in Malle Moto in 2018. Going to be a huge challenge for him but i hope he does well as he is a good bloke

Re: Dakar
That's a brutal challenge. Especially compared to the factory dudes.
Would be cool if they just allowed 1 helper. Giving the rider a bit of sleep and destressing.

On You Tube there's a good video of Lyndon Poskitt doing the Malle Moto class,it looked brutal.
