Yearly subscriptions process and subscriber benefits.
As you'll have seen, we have a button for Subscriptions.
This is very much in the same vein as with TRC. You become a Subscriber, you get a couple of benefits and you also get the chance to help fund the fees/upkeep for RTTL over the coming weeks, months and years.
Private message increased from 75-500
Ability to send PMs to Groups
Ability to browse forum in 'hidden' mode
Ability to see hidden users
Ability to change Avatar
Ability to change signature
Access to any private/locked forums
Increase in time limit to Edit own posts
First choice and special preview purchase/price for Merchandising (to come later)
Subscriptions will be £15.00 per user per year and payable via Paypal.
Any questions, please ask in the Forum Specific Questions section.

Re: Subscriptions and subscriber benefits.
I've just release a new and improved package.
Subscriber PLUS !
For this the first thing you get on top is a 'value t-shirt' https://www.tshirtstudio.com/t-shirt-pr ... ap-t-shirt
Along with a mug....
These will have the RTTL logo on them and can be in whatever colours and selections are available on the website. I've currently only picked the £10 t-shirt as an option because with that and a mug we're already at the extra £15 it costs over and above the standard package, techincally if i'm then paying postage on top, the forum loses out... but it's only £2 so we'll take that for the free advertising we'll get from you wearing the RTTL t-shirt.
Please note, these charges are only for UK posting, if you want international posting, let me know and i'll get figures.
There's also a few other forum things like 2000 messages in your PMs, bigger avatars etc...

Re: Subscriptions and subscriber benefits.
all new registrations to the subscriber PLUS will get their T-shirt and mug with the new updated Logo.
Subscribers still more than welcome though, someone needs to pay for the hamsters to turn the wheel and make this place work.

New incentive for Jan.
Any new sign ups get a free pair of stickers and a keyring.
As well as the knowledge they're doing the right thing of course.

SO to all the non-members here, we're in a position where we're 12 months in and it's time to renew all our ISP stuff.

Don't forget guys, the higher level of membership gets you even more benefits within the forum software, along with the T-shirt and mug too

Bank holiday seems like a decent time to get all your acts together and support the forum. It doesn't pay for itself and needs upkeep.
Anyone who's already a member can still use the 'DONATIONS' function from the menus if they wish to throw in some extra.

Re: Yearly subscriptions process and subscriber benefits.
Don't forget to check you're subscribed. Unlike many other places I don't restrict content or ping up adverts etc, I rely purely on your good nature.
On the main page, the member list at the bottom, if your name isn't in bold blue or purple, then you're not currently subscribed
The forum does send messages when it's expiring but it seems they're sometimes missed.
Enjoy

Re: Yearly subscriptions process and subscriber benefits.
Got a few subs expiring this week, interesting that numbers of people subscribing seems down a bit this year compared to year 1.

Re: Yearly subscriptions process and subscriber benefits.
The arse has completely fallen out of Subs. I think we've had 2 renewals in the last 3 months.
Bit confused by it if I'm honest, especially as postings are quite strong.
I wonder if it's due to lack of incentive for people as even if you don't subscribe you can still view the whole forum and obviously a lack of adverts either way.

Things picked up and ticked along nicely, still plenty of work to do though.weeksy wrote: ↑Mon May 23, 2022 6:21 pmThe arse has completely fallen out of Subs. I think we've had 2 renewals in the last 3 months.
