Get the JAPton in the new workshop for a little bit of fettling.
Need to clean the Rockster at some point soon.
Also hoping that my first bike, a Puch Magnum X, will respond to some tinkering. It's been completely unresponsive for about 20 years.....

Can't see anything happening over winter. Considering changing bikes in the spring, but will wait until then before doing any test rides.

I may clean the Sprint?
Could also do with the hub and linkages being stripped and cleaned - we'll see....

I need to clean the GSXS and give it a good chain clean/lube before covering that up for winter. I filled up with Esso before my ride on Sat and re-filled when I got back to at least 100 miles worth of pure petrol in the tank. Had hoped to get out this week during a lunchtime maybe but doubt that'll happen and looks like normal Nov temps will be back by the weekend.

No upgrades planned at all for this winter. Still really happy with the bike and the only upgrade I'll do at some point will probably be suspension but that can wait till I've paid the bike off in another 18 months. I don't find the suspension bad so hardly a problem. I would like to sort a rad guard from Evo Tech but they are either showing out of stock or in stock but showing the wrong rad (for the newer bike). Probably need to call them.

Kit wise.....don't think I need anything.

Massive elephant in the room is the track R6. I really either need to sell for spares or repairs, or put it back together and get it running. The second option is obviously better but does mean a clueless me putting throttle bodies/carbs etc back on in the freezing cold outside. It'll also need a colossal clean but only once it's water tight! I'd like to do that but I'm a lazy bastid so we'll see.

I'll just be trying to keep it clean to be honest. The exhausts look awful already.

I'm after some black levers for my b'day or Christmas coming up - I've sent the link out to family. I'll probably fit a tail tidy and then it will be time to look at some luggage solutions.

Carry on riding on the road as much as weather/plans allow. Take the DRZ off road as much as I can. Get the aprilia fit for the spring and work on the zxr.

Starting a new job in a couple of weeks time so will be back to commuting at least a couple of times a week.

So I'd better think about giving the turd a bloody good wash polish and acf50.

I think I'll be pushed into buying new kit as my dainese jacket is not very waterproof any more 🤨

Looks like i've got the Ducati Monster 1200 sold which will free up cash to wire up and insulate my new office / workshop and get one for the old 900ss in there.
Need to get new heated grips on the tiger 800 installed as the originals have given up.
Also need to reclommission son No.2's Yamaha Trailways. He wants a twist and go scoot for work.

I don't know really. All the service jobs I had planned on the Zed for the Winter I've already done because of the weeks of endless rain. The bike is sitting clean and ready to go,except the weather forecast is for more weeks of rain.

I think I've reached the end of things I wanted to change on the bike,it's more or less the way I want it. I'd love a set of light wheels, but it's unlikely I'll spend that kind of money for an incremental difference.

I've been musing over an Aprilia Tuono V4 Factory for some time now,who knows what may happen over the long boring months.

I've also been drooling over Kawasaki 2T triples for sale,I'd love one,but it would largely be an ornament and that puts me off.

Get the master cylinder and calipers off the LC, dismantled and sent off for powder coating. They're just a bit too scruffy at present for my liking.

Hopefully get the Falco top fairing and belly pan off the guy who's doing the paint. He's had the top fairing since February, FFS, and it's still only in primer. Took the belly pan down last week and gave him the hurry-up, but in as tactful a way as I could manage. We shall see.

At some point I do need to prep the 888 for sale. I've not ridden it in 5 years and I can't see that changing.

That's about the only current model that could get me interested, unfortunately the price of entry is way too high. That, and I really don't need a 180mph rocketship. They are the biz, though.

I think I'd be beyond tactful after 10 months to paint 1 piece of plastic

I'm in a bit of a bind as I don't know any other paint guys in the area. Plus the quality of his work is uniformly excellent.

When you can get him to do it...

If I had a plan B available I wouldn't have been so tactful.

I have a proper full time job - at freaking last!!!

First things first, I need to get the Monster registered, so paperwork is my big challenge!!

Soooo, since I am not supposed to ski much this winter, I'll do as much touring as my knee/shoulder can take and get fitter and hopefully smaller. Which will mean I can buy some better kit but in a 'preferred' size!! LOL

- Both my lids probably need replacing, but TBF, they've been in dark cool places for years, so I'll keep them and just get new visors for them

- I have various draggin jeans style trousers in various sizes, so don't need to buy any of those at the mo

- have various jackets in leather or textile/hoodies so for now I'll hold fire on those - I've got a decent leather jacket if I can shift weight and get fit, pretty sure there are matching leather trousers for that too, somewhere!!

On the buy list -

- I need to replace my boots. Really needed to do that 5 years ago as the stitching on the right boot is worn from the crash. But they've worked for now! Need to go to some shops and see if I can get the same boots again, as I liked these and they offered pretty good crash protection :D :D

- gloves. Gloves are the bane of my life as I have small hands with short fingers :( Very very rarely get gloves that actually fit :( :( So that is probably the first major search for the winter

- definitely want to get more 'soft' armour. I was given some for the shoulders of my current jacket but would like to get some shoulder armour for the hoody and leather jackets too. Maybe a back plate too

- I'll try and get a better textile jacket maybe

Biggest thing - saving up to buy a smoother bike for the summer :D :D
Life is for living. Buy the shoes. Eat the cake. Ride the bikes. Just, ride the bikes!! :bblonde:
