It looks quite, erm, 'practical'. As said, an MZ vibe.

It's almost as stylish as the Moto Guzzi Ambassador.

I suppose, given it's era it doesn't look too bad. I like the R69S and the time similarities can been seen. It's just I associate MV with stunning looking bikes,so anything less seems more dramatic.

That headlight! Reminds me of Wallace (of Wallace and Gromit fame...)

My old R90S lives close by me and I bumped into it's present owner a couple of days ago. He's a Beemer fan and has quite a few bikes. He told me,when it comes to selling up,the R90S will be the last to go.

It's quite odd, because I'm no BMW fan and I've owned lots of bikes from the early 70s on,but I don't really want to own another Z1 or GS thou, but I'd still give that old girl a home again.

You know those 'info packs' they put on the deep space stuff they sent out? With Bach and Michelangelo drawings, sequences of prime numbers and whatever on that are supposed to say 'Hi! This is us humans'*. If they wanted to give the aliens a concept of 'motorbike' I reckon the picture you posted would do the trick. (Obvs with a pic of someone riding it too, otherwise they might get confused :D ).

*Sent on obsolete laser discs obvs...what are the chances that the aliens have got a player?

Wouldn't they be disappointed when they landed and discovered we don't have wheels growing between our legs?

If they're that stupid (ie haven't invented motorcycles) they'll never reach us.

Nah..they'll go 'Beep, beep, twibble, bxzzxtmm' to each other. Which Google Translate says means 'Let's not go there. They'll smell of wee'. :(
