Black was the only decent colour :) The white ones looked like council house spec :obscene-birdiedoublered:
They did, especially the white and red ones.

Looking at the crash damage thats why mine had the headlight and clocks protected by steel bars as part of the handlebars..... i think they came from Stan Stephens or Allspeed according to the bloke i bought the bike from ;)

On the original post i prefer the Blue standard paintjob as white/red speedblock wasnt an option

I once saw a lad at scrutineers who had his clocks all taped up. He said it was because it was just 2 small plant pots really :obscene-birdiedoublered:

Allspeed made a set of clock protector drops, they were very dropped, I had them with a set of Mel Lemoto rear sets on my 350, I also had a what were supposed to be standard LC bars with a clock protector, but they weren't the same shape as the standard bars.

In the garage I've got a set of early YPVS clock protector bars that go right round the outside of the fairing, pretty sure these are Allspeed ones, shame they don't fit very well.

The ones i had probably didnt fit very well either but fair to say the bike had been bent a bit by the time i bought it cheap. I crashed it quite a bit then sold it on when i left home to join the RAF as i could only take one bike and had 3 at the time figuring a tuned 250 2T wasnt the best idea for carrying kit around various training bases in England and Wales

Mate at work when i was 17 and employed in a commercial photo lab in Glasgow bought a standard 350 YPVS.....within a few weeks it ran Tomaselli clip ons, Mel Lemoto rear sets like your one, full Allspeed system and a twin headlight Mel Lomoto full fairing. Funnily enough after the first GSXR came out everyone wanted twin headlight fairings. The other lad at work with a bike had an aircooled GPz750 with flat bars and bokini fairing. It got the clip ons and twin headlight Crossbow fairing treatment around the same time ;)

They did indeed- I ran them upside down on mine, except at Snetterton

Those are the ones, they run on the fairing on one side, but they could be bent or (more likely) my fairing mount isn't quite right as I had to straighten in by quite a bit.

They both looked lovely until I saw the last two photos, and that set off my (undiagnosed*) symmetrical OCD. I couldn't live with that.

*not officially diagnosed, but I can't stand designs that aren't symmetrical, especially paint schemes.
