I had an FTO GPX, it felt proper fast, but then it was FWD and 200bhp and no traction control.Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Tue Nov 08, 2022 11:25 am It reminds me of what someone once said about the Mitsubishi FTO: Looks like it races Porsches, actually races Mondeos.

Re: EICMA 2022
What do we think about the CL500?
Hipster shite, or with its 6" of bounciness front and back plus a 19" front wheel, a pretty useful bike?

It's not my cup of tea but like the Kwak Vulcan probably a useful and cool looking bike for some people.A_morti wrote: ↑Tue Nov 08, 2022 12:48 pm What do we think about the CL500?

Re: EICMA 2022
Kawasaki are getting into the badge engineering game - you can now pay more for a KX450X with Bimota on the seat.

Re: EICMA 2022
Are Kawasaki MX bikes still Suzuki MX bikes with different badges like they were 20 years ago?
Edit: 30 seconds of googling says yes they are.

Re: EICMA 2022
I thought the MX collab ended a while ago, perhaps 2006 or 2007. I had a 2007 KX250F and I'm fairly sure it was post-RMZ.

That looks a lot like an RMX450Z or whatever the Suzuki equivalent is called.

Re: EICMA 2022
MCN list the differences between the Kawasaki and Bimota versions as...
Different headlamp
Different capacity tank
Different paint job
Fuck all really.

Re: EICMA 2022
There's a rumour of another Bimota. It's an Adventure bike based on their Tesi H2 (which uses the Kawasaki H2 supercharged engine) called the Terra.
Supercharged 200bhp ADV bike!!!
