Petrucci is confirmed in Moto America again, so if anyone says he's back to MotoGP, or WSB, you'll know they are talking shite :D

The silly season this year has been a bit dull; hopefully next year we'll have plenty of whacky rumours to entertain us :)

Well you’re right in the sense that he’s riding as a wildcard, a stand in ride for Mir whilst he’s injured, but nothing more.

:D :D I meant if rumours start about him being in MotoGP, or WSB, in 2023, you'll know they talking shite.

But yeah, he's back as a stand in. :)

Just seen this. How definite is Petrucci for another year on the HSBK Warhorse Ducati for 2023?

It's what he deserves though, he's been properly dog-shit.

A manager is there to win titles. So is the rider... he's not a babysitter.

Agreed.

However, something has changed with him; I think we can all guess what that is.

His head has gone; well, not actually gone, 'cos he wouldn"t be able to see where he's going, and would be even slower than he is now.

I dunno you know... is that actually possible at this level ? Sure he can not get on with a bike, but to lose speed, i don't know about that.

D Binder has been worse in terms of results, but i'll be he's at the reasonably pointy end in Moto2 next year. I don't think people just go from awesome to garbage... See Remy Gardner, Olivera etc too. I think the fact is that MotoGP are the pinnacle of engineering and takes a ridiculous amount of 'something' to get the best out of them, if you can't get that final 0.5%, you look rubbish... I think that's all some of these lads are missing.. Soon as you put them on a decent bike.. They'll fly.

Morbidelli suffers from a very special team mate. If it wasn't for Fabio everyone would just be saying the Yamaha is shit and his results, although poor, wouldn't seem as bad by comparison.

Bike sport has plenty of examples of champs who 'lose the plot'. Freddie Spencer,Ben Spies,Josh Brookes...it's a thing.

Ben Spies was more injury tbf, I always liked what he said about Stoner, I wish Stoner had stuck at it, wonder how many he would have won. Mind you his illness may have stopped him winning any more.

We sometimes think back to the aliens and proclaim them as the best.
We really need Marquez back to full fitness to gauge how good Quarteraro and Bagnaia really are.

Fingers crossed for next season, I must admit I’d love to see him back at the top and winning another championship, makes me want to watch it.
