The headstock looks like it been removed from the frame. AFAICS it looks to have been done quite neatly so I suspect someone isn't quite telling the whole truth. More and better pictures would help.

I suspect that the frame has snapped at the headstock rather than having been cut off and it is a piss take, but in this world you just never can be sure.

I would do, I even put my glasses on, but the pic is only about 90mm x 90mm and not enlargeable on my screen
