I'm on call so can't go far which is a shame as tomorrow looks like a great day for running bikes in.

Frid: Going to see spawn #1 after work, eat, home, bed
Sat: Going to the South Street Bonfire Society coffee morning in Lewes and catching up with a biker friend who I haven't seen for a few months.
Sun: On standby for issues due to the clocks changing and making the most of my Netflix account which is running out on the 10th. After a 2 month subscription, there's not a lot left I want to watch.

Home alone with the dog for the weekend and off work today, no fixed plans other than booster jab on Sunday morning

Jobs for the weekend:
  • finish off plaster boarding loft bedroom ceilings which have been a slog as every time I carry a plasterboard up 2 floors, I manage to tweak my shoulder so can only manage 3 or 4 per day and then it takes a day or so to recover. 15 boards done, 2 to go.
  • depending on quote from plasterers, consider taping / jointing ceilings rather than getting a man in. To give you an idea of how much hassle this will be, there is around 60m of corner beads to fit and fill around the windows, king trusses and purlins.
  • hack off the damaged render from the bottom of the bay window, access to brickwork and then make good (dodging the forecast rain)
  • insulate behind knee/stub walls in loft bedrooms with left over PIR and fibreglass insulation.
Thankfully doggy is out all day tomorrow on an adventure day so plenty of time to crack on.

Other than above, fish n chip tea tonight, possibly a kebab tomorrow and gaviscon all day on Sunday ;)

Today: recovering from yesterday's Covid jab. Feel achey and generally more than a Bit Shit.
Saturday: depends on above. If up to it I need to drain and refill the central heating system and tidy up the man cave(s)
Sunday: See Saturday.
There is no cloud, just somebody else's computer.

I'm off work as I've got the kids because it's half term.

I was going to take them to Duxford Air Museum and the older one was going to do a 'flying lesson' in a tiger moth. But it's been cancelled due to wind.

I'll probably have a medium sized wank, then file down the t-track adaptors on the roof box so they don't fuck the rubbers every time I put it on. I think I'm going to move house soon so it would be handy.

Today; Hopefully my abba stand attachment to lift the front wheel will arrive today so I'll fit tyre on the front of the MT. Then continue emptying loft-of-plenty. Evening appointment for review of knee surgery. Then home for Chinese take away with in-laws.

Tomorrow order tiles and bathroom suite and accessories.

Last weekend before wife goes back to work after half term, so I expect we'll go out for Sunday dinner somewhere?

today - been to 'town' and got a couple of threads I was missing to stitch some christmas cards. Had covid booster. Rode my friends CBF1000 :D :D Celebrated a mate buying an apartment in town (over coffee, apparently he seriously celebrated last night!! LOL) and met another friend for a coffee because he likes to talk with me about my shoulder treatment/surgery experiences - he's about to have surgery to repair a muscle or ligament in/by his shoulder, and just wants to talk really!!

Came back to sort out the two fridges in the house sit place and work out what I need to use and what can wait longer - pack of sausages in the oven. I miss my air fryer!!

Soon as the sausages are done, I'm heading upstairs to the sitting room to listen to tv whilst I cross stitch christmas card designs :D :D Must remember to drink more water as I haven't drunk enough the last few days! LOL

Tomorrow - heading to town early (ish) as I want to get some veggies from the local place on the market. Then chat with friends at my mates shop. Maybe ride the bike a bit further :angelic-green: then back to cook and stitch and hide upstairs in the sitting room so any local kids don't think I'm here!! LOL They never come to my apartment in resort but I have no idea if they would come round here!!

Sunday - similar to Saturday but minus the shopping!! LOL
Life is for living. Buy the shoes. Eat the cake. Ride the bikes. Just, ride the bikes!! :bblonde:

The medium sized wank can be a real sweet spot.

You can make a cup of tea before, do the deed... and when you're done the tea is then at the perfect drinking temperature to enjoy which helps you get over the wank regret / guilt. Not that I really have those. But I do enjoy the tea.

Earl Grey is a product of cross contamination of cargo. So, sloppy shipping and they give you a monument in Newcastle. :D

(It also smells like 80s sun tan lotion).

A guy I know, Roy Moxham, wrote an interesting book on tea called A Brief History of Tea! Tis a great book to sit down and read with a cuppa... :?
