Re: Chief Twit
It is beyond me why anyone give so much credence to Twitter. Mostly it is the highly opinionated feeling that they have a right to tell everyone what is wrong with the world. Generally with little evidence , other than a man down the pub.
It's not journalism - it doesn't need corroborated source.
It's just ego, mind fuck tittle tattle.

I rarely look at it but sometimes it's good for local news or fast news.Mr Moofo wrote: ↑Fri Oct 28, 2022 4:23 pm It is beyond me why anyone give so much credence to Twitter. Has twitter got its own account or something? I thought it was a platform ??Mr Moofo wrote: ↑Fri Oct 28, 2022 4:23 pm It is beyond me why anyone give so much credence to Twitter. Fundamentally because you can reply back, discuss , debate - whilst understanding the NVC that is also going on. Twitter is nearly a foghorn, where people block responders they don't like.Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Fri Oct 28, 2022 5:08 pmAnd that's different to every other human conversation....how?Mr Moofo wrote: ↑Fri Oct 28, 2022 4:23 pm It is beyond me why anyone give so much credence to Twitter. More than happy with conversations - but email / texts tend to escalate issues as many see them as non-personal. Most would not say was they are posting on these forums if they were face to face with people (who quite likely will have a counterpoint and actually more idea of what they are talking about)

Re: Chief Twit
Hang on. You're saying that people I'm face to face with will probably have more idea what they're talking about than somebody on the internet?
Like... erm... you, for instance?

Re: Chief Twit
Absolutely- as can be said for any media source. But Twitter is instant , sent directly to you, slightly addictive. And now has Elon Musk at the helm. Who may be a technology genius but will use the tool for his own gains

Re: Chief Twit
I refer the gentleman to my original post:
Elon Musk has taken over Twitter and must be doing something right because it's annoyed all the correct people.
I call that a good week.

Irony
Imagine being a tree hugging bunny luver...
Imagine buying an electric car...
Now imagine that the money you spent on it helped the owner of the car company buy Twitter... Bam.
