Mrs D went for her 4th last week. On one through three she was quite "ill" afterwards, this time she just had a vaguely achey arm.

I haven't been bad on any of the covid jabs, but the last flu jab I had knocked me for 6 and I had to have a week off work I was so shit!! So, I'm in no hurry to have a flu jab this year.

They've all given me a sore arm and a day or two feeling miserable....but not as miserable as I'd be with flu or covid.

Just been for my Pfizer number 4 - well, this morning!!

Was a bit nervous as she said that it's a bit different to account for new strains?? Anyway - going through the questions and info stuff, she seemed very surprised that I haven't had any symptoms from any of the 3 jabs, and virtually none from the two bouts of Covid that I'm aware of (well, the first I realised I'd had it from the lack of smell and taste!!)

Anyway. Had the jab a bit before 11am and so far, just tired, which I have been for weeks!! LOL

The 'formula' for annual flu jabs is adjusted every year to deal with the most likely variants.

Oh totally. I think each vaccine I've had has been different. A bit more confused this time because it's not on the paperwork as Pfizer

The first flu jab I had at about 32 wiped me out for a week, so I didn't have any after that until I was in rehab at the end of 2020 - on the phone to my brother when they came round to offer to put me on the list and he said go on. No reaction at all

Oh, my doc didn't offer it. But I was supposed to have the fourth one in March to keep the pass sanitare for work - since I was off work and not exactly mobile, I didn't get it.

So I went to the pharmacie with all my certs and asked if I could have it - Had to wait two week (maybe only ten days) so not unhappy with that

And I feel better now - you've got a few months on me, so I don't feel old now

I'm on #4:
The first two Pfizers three weeks apart in April '21. After the first jab he asked if I had any questions....
Me: "Yes, What's the cube of 27?" (19,683.. memorize it, then ya have it ready next time someone says "any questions?")

Updated booster* on 8th Sept '22. Got a flu jab at the same time. Asked the bloke if he could get both needles in the same hole.

*I was gonna get the same booster I had the first time, then they announced updated version in a few weeks so I waited. That prevented an extra hole from having 3 booster jabs.

Have you mentioned it to the Government, might be a great way of reducing spending. We can close all the hospitals so people die to basic commonplace injuries and disease get the average age down into the 40s and have a nice pot of unclaimed pensions funds available to spend as well
