Surprised their customer service has gone to crap - they were excellent when I purchased off them back in the Zanx days, they couldn't do enough to help.

That's what I was remembering. Alex and Maxine iirc, used to post on Visordown back in the day. Thought I'd support a smaller business in these times. Hope I haven't dropped one by doining so!

Well it was brought up early in the year;
MrLongbeard wrote: Sun Aug 21, 2022 11:21 pm Nope, I went with Almax in deference to Zanx and the work he published.
Long story short, bloody good kit, piss poor customer service.
And I did post on the other place what a ball ache it was getting in touch and getting the 300 quids worth of kit actually delivered, 10 days to get it shipped after several message on faceache and emails were ignored by them, only threatening a paypal claim got me any traction.

Bought a chain and padlock a couple of years ago - had to chase them over the phone but turned out fine in the end.

I've bought a couple of times off them. Didn't have a problem, other than getting off the phone with the guy but a friend tried to buy a chain and lock last year and ended up getting into a big augment as to whether his place was a house or a flat.

I should update this. I did speak with Almax and they were waiting on a delivery of locks, hence the delay. I ended up chatting with Alex for some time about everything bikes and even Zanx for those who remember him. I ended up upgrading the 16mm to the 19mm but the bigger one still would just be too unwieldy for moi.

So after getting my X-ADV nicked, I knew I had to invest in better bike security. @Ajlog mentioned the monimoto tracker and I got one of those and happy with how that works. Now I;ve added this ship's chain as well. I feel if they get the MT09, I cant beat myself up about it.

Bought a chain sleeve from them 6 months ago. Had to call them twice before I got it. On both calls I was promised the product was getting sent out that day but even after the second call it was another week before the chain sleeve was posted.
