That'd be good if the Conservative party members had removed Boris from the job, but he was removed by Conservative MPs, then they had a vote and the party members didn't vote for the "right" candidate, this time they won't get a vote because they can't be trusted

(Well it had to be done).
Why did you spell the first candidates name in the poll incorrectly?

Did Johnson actually say that, or was it just rumoured?
That's what "sources" said. Of course Johnson is not going to say this explicitly because he would be directly challenged to name these supporters. If you are not aware of how smoke and mirrors politics work you've been living in an alternative universe. ;)
Ah, so he didn't say it then, but you called him a bullshitter for saying something that he didn't say.....
Proves that don't understand how smoke and mirror non-attributable briefings work.

On the day this took place Johnson had an evening party in Downing Street. Unforgivable.

Bozo's out of the race - Boris Johnson drops out of the leadership race

So, Sunak it is then.

It makes me laugh.

They are all just names from the same pile. The same stinking, corrupt, narcissistic pile of ongoing horrible people!

It's like selecting the best potato from a rotting mound, maybe we should look elsewhere for a candidate away from privilege! maybe good people with morals and ethics should run the country!

Where will we find them? i don't know yet, maybe we should spend all our money put into the current MP employment system into finding them!

From the above link:
Boris Johnson drops out of Conservative leadership race, saying he got 102 nominations.
Or maybe not.

The BBC had him on 57. So he's still talking sh!t.

And again - I am well placed to deliver a Conservative victory in 2024 - Johnson

But how can he when he'll lose his seat when the inquiry reports?

Where are the secret supporters touted by Johnson which will push him beyond the minimum 100 entry limit?

In the absence of any evidence of the existence of these secret supporters it does look like Johnson is bullshitting.

Quite unlike Johnson of course. Image

Boris Johnson wrote: I believe I am well placed to deliver a Conservative victory in 2024 - and tonight I can confirm that I have cleared the very high hurdle of 102 nominations, including a proposer and a seconder, and I could put my nomination in tomorrow.

"There is a very good chance that I would be successful in the election with Conservative Party members - and that I could indeed be back in Downing Street on Friday.

"But in the course of the last days I have sadly come to the conclusion that this would simply not be the right thing to do. You can't govern effectively unless you have a united party in parliament."
But no verification of those making up the 102, of course. ;)

More lies from the biggest lying toad of them all. He didn't have the numbers and rather than have his shortfall and lack of support made public, he simultaneously fell on his sword and said 'I could have won it, but I chose not to'. What utter bollocks. If he had really had the support he'd never have given up. It's all an act, a sham, just like the rest of his life.

He is proving himself to be a total fraud. Unable to deliver on most things - and those that do happen are due to others. Surrounded by sycophants who indulge him and have allowed his ego to develop. I am sure that he will do very well outside of parliament. But the sooner he is there - and takes his lying culture with him, the better.

I have no doubt that he , and senior Tories realise that he is going to end up banned from parliament for misleading it.

I wouldn't say his life is an act or a sham, he's rich, massive salary and houses worth millions. I can see why some are so bitter over him.

So in your world just because someone is rich and has all the trappings of wealth, that automatically confers respectability and gravitas, does it? Do you feel the same way about (for instance) underworld crime bosses? You're obviously easily fooled.

So, the fact that he is morally corrupt, an egotistical idiot with delusions of adequacy and a blatant liar has nothing to do with it?

He's a true leader, statesman with courage and strength. But add money to the mix and the bitterness of the opposition comes through with hate and spite.

I realsie you're not serious but there is a serious point to be made.

There is no natural leader in the Conservative Party. There doesn't appear to be one in the Labour Party either or anywhere in Parliament.
