Yep, he's too brown. It caused too much trouble before, he was the target of hate filled racism from Labour, as was the Kwasi.

I think his main problem was racism from Tory members.

I think it's difficult to suggest anyone in the Conservative Party who has the political clout to run the country.
There may be someone in the House of Lords but they're Yesterdays Men and will know enough to steer clear.

Yep, talk about a poison chalice.
I can’t see a GE being called unfortunately. It would be Turkeys voting for Xmas.

Re: So who will be the next PM?
That illustrates the Tory problem.
The 2 top contenders have diametrically opposite views on financial policy. And the 3rd place candidate, who might possibly achieve some sort of compromise or consensus, is a very distant 3rd.

A Parliamentary democracy is all very well apart from when the governing party is completely awash with fuckwits that you wouldn't trust to fetch you 20 fags from the corner shop.
Then add in the fact that the cunt that you foolishly voted for at the last election unsurprisingly turned out to be a fraud on every level and hey presto! What do you get?
UK Q4 2022.
Well done Tory voters.

Mogg, he really should be interviewed as often as possible on every possible occasion.
Can't see them lasting long with his unfiltered opinions being aired frequently so I'm all for it.

Re: So who will be the next PM?
Some Constitutional " expert " on Radio 4 yesterday , stated that if enough MPs petition Charlie III , he has the power to order a GE !
( Given that Charlie has been told to " stay out of politics " , could be interesting .....( least I think so ) )

AFAIK technically the only person who can dissolve parliament and hence force a GE is Charles. The PM has to ask him, he'll just never say no.

Re: So who will be the next PM?
Think I've seen the Ian Brady/1922 Committee wheeze to (a) get the PM election done quickly and (b) try to stop Johnson getting anywhere:
Entry for PM candidates has been set to 100 minimum supporters. There are 357 Conservative MPs. Sunak currently has about 80 supporters while Johnson has about 40.
When Sunak reaches the 100 threshold I think we can expect far more votes for Mordaunt, a pretty much guaranteed loser, and perhaps more candidates declaring in an attempt to split the vote to prevent Johnson getting to the 100 minimum threshold.
We shall see.

Re: So who will be the next PM?
It's going to be Sunak, his father in law has already bribed the Tory MPs, the whole contest is just a show to make out Sunak won a vote.
I can't see the party members being very happy with the MPs.

I still think it'll be a 2 horse race with the Clown Prince returned by the Party sycophants. Paid up party gammons aren't going to back Sunak.
