I don't fancy a jab up the flue much.

Bobbing along on a ferry home, it's only a force 4 wind so it all quite smooth.
And the internet works on the ferry now. Yay.

Trying to put a security camera/floodlight up. It fits close to the eves and is making wiring it a fecking nightmare and my new knee is really protesting at ladder work. Usually I'm a very long tempered person but this Bastard lot will be going into orbit any minute now!

On watch at NCI. It is cold, windy, overcast, and absolutely nothing to see, no vessels moving within 20 miles on AIS. I foresee a boring 4 hours Good job I have a book.

Re: A right now thread
Sat in agony. Had a few sherbets earlier and cycled home.
Red hot so jumped in the pool. I slipped and somehow spackered my back.
Fark. Had painkillers and more beer. Bugger.
Might just kip on the sofa.

I know how you feel. Buggered backs are a bastard. I've two slip discs that kick off for no apparent reason. You have my sympathy.

Sneezing got the me the last two times
It doesn't even hurt my back, it's my legs. But the cause is Sciatica, I'm sure some of you old creakers are familiar with that.

Re: A right now thread
Sitting here wishing my life away! Took my in-laws away for the weekend. Them in Their caravan, us in our camper. Mother in law is 92 and has dementia. Campsite is full of out of control, or uncontrolled, energetic kids. Father in law says it’s too much for mother in law. Wife is a teachers assistant with young kids and there are kids from her school here and it’s so noisy it’s not what she wanted yo get away from. They all have valid points, but, ffs, it’s a campsite at half term, we knew this going in. I note to myself don’t bother again! On the plus side I enjoyed it! Here’s some pics…

Dementia sufferers hate noise,or a lot going on around them, they can't process it all. MIL used to stick her fingers in her ears to blot out a tv.

Re: A right now thread
She gets phased by the amount of cars on the road but not much else. She enjoys going out and seeing things and is fitter and walks better than him (79 years old). He basically transports his living room to a field and will just sit there and watch telly all day like he does at home. He is so lazy he tries to hide it behind "protecting her". We know if we don't take her out she'll never go out, but its going to end up causing arguments. I'm starting to think it isn't so much he protects, her as he is a bit embarrassed of her! It's really quite a sad situation!

Waiting for phone call from vets, Senior Sith Hound (Chewie) has been leaking blood from his mouth all weekend and trip to emergency vet on Saturday thinks he has a mass on his jaw. So he's at the vets today for GA and full dental exam.
