Ducati 600 Pantah
Ducati 600 Pantah
After selling it 25 years ago, I've tracked it down and bought it back. The most wonderful ear bleedingly loud bike in the world It's hardly been ridden in the past quarter of a decade, hasn't changed a bit, even has the same Comp K Metzlers that I put on it! Now I just have to figure out how to get it from Penrith 400 miles South

Re: Ducati 600 Pantah
That's in remarkably good nick for a 42 year old bike. And it has period (faded) 80s paintwork... I remember seeing a lot of 600 Pantahs being raced in the F2 class at the TT in that era.

That's a nice one and I'm happy you've been reunited with it.
I think reading too many Bike magazines in the mid 80s made me desire one, but I'm glad I never owned one.

Re: Ducati 600 Pantah
That's a lairy paintjob (presumably your work, I'm not surprised at all). Also an interesting double lamp fairing - where did that come from??
I often wonder what happened to mine - whether or not it's still going.....
'Possibly' the loudest thing I've owned up to now*: K&N pods, and a Conti race system - it would set off car alarms on tickover.
* The JAPton is louder, guaranteed

In fairness, I suspect that the ghey pink would have been a more manly red all those years ago.
If that's not the case, then we have a new candidate for the bumming hat...

Re: Ducati 600 Pantah
Bikes like that really throw me right back into 80's nostalgia, when there were two stroke lads and four stroke lads and we drew our lines in the sand.
The four stroke lads lusted after bikes like that and us two stroke lads never gave them a second glance.
Everything is so bland now, it's a shame.

Re: Ducati 600 Pantah
I didn't notice that first time, mainly as my eyes had stopped working after the first few seconds
