There's only 2 of us in the chain. I despair. I haven't eaten since yesterday, my head is banging, and I'm just done with it all at this stage.

Watching SpongeBob Movie with my Great Nephew and Niece. Or, at least, I would be if they shut up so I can hear it properly!

I was having a nice afternoon and about to go for a stroll in the forest when my wife's phone rang, it was our daughter. instead of my daughter's voice a bloke announced he was a firearms copper but don't be worried.
I was expecting a teenage prank but headed home to see a copper with a gun in front of our house.
All he would tell us is they were setting up containment for the house behind us, now my wife is freaking out about living next to a nutter with a gun who buried his ex-wife in the garden. All speculation so I offered that he might have buried his ex-wife in our garden

Early coffee, race day for the boy. Load car and then off out for the day. He's still snoring.

Having a post patrol cup of tea. None of the causeways need closing because of bad weather. Which is nice. The ferries are disrupted or cancelled though.

Guzzling meds. I decided I wouldn't need them anymore, so the last ones I took were late afternoon yesterday. My leg woke me up a short while ago demanding it be fed its cocktail of meds and I was certainly happy to oblige. Effin ouch! :D

Staring out of the window watching it rain.....hoping it will pass or I'll have a Staff rebellion if I try taking them for a walk. It's a little known fact Staffies are more allergic to rain than the Wicked Witch.

I have also pulled about a kilo of Mrs M's hair out of the drain after she complained the drain was smelling.

Recovering after the weekend. Couple of friends showed up surprisingly from home to help celebrate my 40th. Was hoping for a quiet one and it didn't turn out that way...

I'm sat in Can cafe in Göcek with çay waiting for a boat. M has disappeared to check out a dress shop she saw on the way in.

The boat, a gulet is due around 4:30 and the reason we're waiting is we got a lift here with friends who are off to Kaş for a few days so we were running on their schedule. The gulet is apparently an upmarket one but is owned by a neighbour of M's hairdresser and we got a very good deal.

Four days of chillin', eating and drinking.

Don't know what Kaş is like now but it was an idyllic little place (with  food). Hope it hasn't been spoiled!

Kaş hasn't changed much at all thankfully - I think that geographically it would be difficult to make any big changes.

I'm getting all frustrated with the world at the moment with some things.... I'm jumping too far ahead with my thoughts of next year, what we'll race, where we'll race, when we'll race etc....But none of the organisers will be posting their events for a while yet potentially and we need to wait for particular events before we can decide where, when and what does or doesn't clash. But i just like things 'organised' and planned out.

Sometimes I don't like how my brain works lol.

Technically I'm contractually obliged to keep my car clean :D "They" claim it's because the number plate says the name of the manufacturer on the bottom rather than a dealer name, hence you're a brand ambassador. It goes against the grain to regularly clean my car though.

My thoughts are "get a man in" and "how the fuck are they actually gonna police that anyway?" :obscene-birdiedoublered:

Years back (one December) I met a delightful chap in Antalya who owned/ran a pizza place in Izmir through the summer and was a travelling rep in dental products in winter. He said 'You must go to Kaş. It's heaven on earth!'. So we did.

He also took us to 'the famous chicken restaurant' in Antalya. I managed to order 2 half chickens in Turkish (good job I didn't get piliç and kiliç mixed up  ).
