Deviate

Post by Taff »

I've just been out on a shop ride and one of the riders was on a Deviate Guide, I'd never heard of them before and damn, it's a good looking thing in the flesh...and a 12 speed pinion gearbox

Weirdly I don't much care about the looks of a bike, but the riding. Hence nearly buying the fairly ugly G180.

That Deviate doesn't do a lot for me. Top tube is too straight and too bendy both a once and that gap too big.

The chain/gearbox setup freaks me out but I do like the idea of them though

Mate had a Zerode for a few years and he really misses the gearbox.
"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."
