I should do a clearout too,I seldom use anything outside of plugins in Logic Pro X. I have two boards and allsorts all lying in the roofspace. I keep a swell pedal and the TR2 in the back of my amp for 'very' occasional use. But. I'm a lazy bastrid.Slenver wrote: ↑Thu Sep 29, 2022 12:04 pmYeah, I have a Keeley Top Boost but never really got on with that either. Might sell that too.

I've heard really good things about their amp cabs. I can't look at their site for too long though... I have enough stuff alreadySlenver wrote: ↑Thu Sep 29, 2022 12:08 pmThere's obviously a lot of snobbery about an 'own brand' for equipment, and they used to just make cheap mic stands and shitty acoustics etc, but it seems they make pretty good stuff these days at ridiculous prices. Even their valve amps are supposed to be decent.

It seems odd though - surely any power supply is inherently more noisy? I probably don't know enough about these things ...

Re: Guitar amp/FX volume issue
The decent (usually expensive) ones with isolated outputs etc are usually super quiet. Nothing's perfect of course,if you have 20 pedals on a board, chances are there'll be some noise/signal loss. All the stuff that bothers you at home gets lost in the racket of a band anyway.

I was literally just watching a video of an interview with Robin Trower where he discusses his setup and guess what? He has an identical rug! How cool is that?
