Climbing fail:

Think I should've put image stabilisation up to max for the last vid.

Finally getting back to some free time, went for a run Sunday and a Zwift yesterday and today. Need to get back to it as I’ve gained 4kg.

Rode Yorkshire this morning followed by a 20 min training session, was savage but quite fun in the end.

Looks epic... obviously the middle one reminds me of the Peaks rides i've done...

Last one looks the most fun to me though even though it's horribly wet by the look of it.

My riding has fallen off a cliff again after I thought I had just started to get back into it again. My riding this year has been so hit and miss. Not sure I've even hit 1000 miles yet. Raced the PMBA at Kirroughtree last month which was fun, I do miss being between the tape. Really need to sort it and get myself riding over winter. Which reminds me, must find my mudguards for the road bike.

Blimey - that's a workout on a chubby's MTB !
Being old I max out at 158 - and would probably die at 177bpm!

I remember those days fondly ...
Used to be able to get up to just south on 200 bpm on a spin bike - but that was when I was young!

From Sunday

Went out last night - and to was as slippy as fuck (and I threw a bit of a hissy fit as the route taken was brand new, really gnarly in places - steep down hill on roots , followed by step uphill on roots, and then hidden drops offs at the side  )

But no photos from then !

I tried a set of Hope brakes today for the first time ever, by Eck they were nice!!!!

Looking at pictures they were the new Tech4 type but no idea what combo. Very very nice though

I find Hope's go off the boil over time. Maybe it's just me but after a year or so despite bleeding all the bite and power seems to fade away. SRAM or Shitmano seem to last forever though I am becoming a bit unimpressed with the Evil's XT's and their wandering bite point.
