Re: Chrissy Rouse
Unfortunately another example of rider getting away with their own fall off but getting struck by a following rider who couldnt avoid him. Every fatality in racing when i was involved except one was the same circumstance
Fingers crossed as he is a popular figure in the BSB paddock and seems liked by everyone

Re: Chrissy Rouse
Back in 2019 I was testing my race R1 after some work had been done to it and guy who retired from racing the year before lost the rear coming out of the hairpin and I rode straight over him, I thought it was his chest/head area that I had hit so I just assumed he was dead, I feared the worst. He was out cold for what felt like forever, he spent the night in hospital and miraculously had no broken bones or anything, just bad bruising, unbelievable.Bigyin wrote: ↑Mon Oct 03, 2022 7:19 pm Unfortunately another example of rider getting away with their own fall off but getting struck by a following rider who couldnt avoid him. Re: Chrissy Rouse
If you go on You Tube he had a excellent channel doing weekly podcasts with Dom Herbertson & a different guest each week.
They've had pretty much everyone in the BSB paddock on the podcast plus Ron Haslam,Roger Marshall & lots of road racers.Search YT for 'motorbike pod' & you'll find a long list of guests.
On each episode Chrissy came across as a real nice guy,now he's gone...

Re: Chrissy Rouse
A mate used to organise a charity footy match here, between the road racers and the circuit dudes. He spoke well of Chrissy Rouse.
Condolences to his family and friends.
