DUCATI “1200SS”
Interesting from an aesthetic viewpoint, not much of a token nod to practicalities, but then that wasn't the brief anyway.

Looks good, but I wouldn't want to ride it in the wet.

I blagged a go on a 916. Fun, impressive, but didn't quite suit my needsCousin Jack wrote: ↑Wed Sep 28, 2022 10:21 pm Looks good, but I wouldn't want to ride it in the wet.
This one looks great, and probably suits its purpose.

Re: DUCATI “1200SS”
The more I look at it, the moreI like it. Initially I thought 'not another cyan coloured bike', but even that is growing on me. I can't imagine comfort was high on the list of priorities, but I'll bet it's a fun ride, with 120 hp and 145 kg. That weighs less than my KTM Duke and has 50 hp more...

Nice, that. Good construction work, looks purposeful etc. Would have liked a go...a few years ago

I saved this thread until last to read because I love the idea of an old school 1200SS, I made a coffee, sat back on my recliner office chair and took a big swig as the thread opened - and nearly choked on it, that's fucking horrible.
What's it supposed to be? Steam punk meets hipster with man bun?
Ghastly.

I'd need to wrap the exhausts but other than that its perfect.
