Mine's in warranty for another 8 months, otherwise I'd leave it until it started being an arse to start when hot.

I seriously doubt if any shims will need changing, it's a GSXR750 with the top 4000rpm lopped off, and I generally don't thrash it.

Yeah that's a bind. If I was in your shoes I'd get it done. In years gone by I'd have ignored it but I've got all middle aged.

Mine won't be due till long passed the warranty and I reckon I'll leave it. Fancy spending some money getting MCT to set it up properly once the loans done.

If its like the 750 you'll need a new rear shock, my standard one was over sprung and had little damping
