Not so cool. My pal's bike set on fire at Cadwell 3 weeks ago. He was hospitalised. Bust ribs and punctured lung.

I could have been a contender. That's me hanging off the chair in my first race. I can't recall how many practice starts and laps we did, not many I suspect.

A Wasp chassis powered by a 750 Weslake running methanol IIRC. Nava helmet with a thumbwheel for opening the visor.
