Friday thread... the rain going away one ?
It's been bloody horrible in terms of weather lately here, rain every day... more than once mostly !!!
So Fri is WFH here and then off out to Brewdog with the boy in Oxford for spicy chicken burgers
Sat we're planning Forest of Dean to get the boy back on the trails.... and ME !!! I've barely done a trail since he was injured
Sun will be chilling at home with Red Bull TV and HArdline from Wales.

Today: Prayers. Opening Church for people to reflect, give thanks, have words of comfort, leave tributes and be still. I will go in the evening to Maidstone for a friends 50th Birthday party.
Saturday: Head home after breakfast at the B&B, then write sermon for Sunday's Baptism service.
Sunday: Baptism service with Holy Communion. Prayers for the Royal Family and Her Late Majesty the Queen. Back to home church for cover services and more.

Cats are being delivered tomorrow. I daresay the weekend will go downhill from there....

As we are flower sellers on a markets, and as it happens todays market pitch is opposite the memorial in Stamford, we are going to be very busy.
Probably will be busy again tomorrow and Sunday will be a day gardening

WFH today
Saturday is MOT day for four vehicles, so I'll be driving / walking to and from the garage for a good part of the day.
Sunday, whatever takes my fancy

Re: Friday thread... the rain going away one ?
Tell me about it! Still not sure when/if I'm going to Yeovil. Plan ideally was Sunday - Tuesday. And I could cope with a bit of rain at some point over the 3 days. But at the minute it's raining every couple of hours and when it rains it's proper raining. I can go anytime before the 23rd but forecast is so changeable at the min.
Anyway.
Fri WFH and then taking my lad to the pub - his choice My daughter is having a sleep over so he got to pick something to do and he said the pub. It's tough being Dad sometimes
Sat - Possibly getting tyres fitted, other than that looking after the little un's as Mrs has a jolly from 3
Sun - Might be riding to Yeovil. If not might go up to Krazy Horse with a mate as Sunday at least is meant to be dry.

It's drying up here at the moment and tomorrow looks to be set fair. Saturday seems to be the only decent day of the weekend, with the rain returning on Sunday and on into next week.
Mrs.Skub and daughter are off on a break until Monday night,so I'm hoping the weather will be better than predicted,so I can waste some petrol.

Re: Friday thread... the rain going away one ?
I was doing something but it was cancelled so now I'm not. I've volunteered to be on-call for the weekend so will be pottering about instead.
I have next week as annual leave which is likely to be extended one day because of the Queen's funeral and I have a credit in my Airbnb account due to the above cancelation so, I will probably take myself away somewhere nice on my iron horse as this will be last chance weather-wise for a trip this year.

Tomorrow - MOT for the car and one of the bikes. Clean the car too if it stays dry.
Sunday - hoping to get to Peaslake but depends on plans with the kids and the new dog.

Didn't realise he was injured. Clearly he's better if you're planning on FoD but I hope it wasn't anything too bad.

Re: Friday thread... the rain going away one ?
Today was going to be chilled after a couple of weird 'moments' on the bike yesterday - decided I should take a day or two break to see if it's just overload!! LOL
Soooo - met a friend for coffee. Did a short walk. Then come home and got distracted into a LOT of cooking!! LOL So I have some chicken and veg spring rolls for the freezer. Some almost char sui pork for the freezer. A LOAD of the char sui/bbq sauce that I now need to boil down/thicken and jar - or might freeze some and use it next time as need to do the dish again with a 'correct' cut of pork!! LOL Also cooked some rice so that I can do a fried rice dish tomorrow to share with a mate
Planning cross stitch or crochet for the evening
Tomorrow - will probably ride to the valley to see a mate and maybe stamp some paper bags with her shop's name Will bimble back and do more cooking or sorting or something
Sunday - similar I expect!!

Friday ; working 12Hrs
Saturday ; 12Hrs at work educating the newbies
Sunday ; 12 hrs at work
(12 hr roster started last week and I see to be there permanently due to large OT load )
But it’s paying for something Evil.

Today - Got my hair cut. Always end up being in their for over an hour throwing around the banter. Going to get A grade battered now as the first week back at work has been mental as always and my back has gone again so painkillered up!*
Sat - Noubt. Hopefully a new batch of gummies will land on my doormat!
Sun - Housework. Over the parents for a roast, then going to spin some tunes at the Chelsea Inn on the new and improved system...free cider all night
Not today though, just the alcohol etc, i'm not quite that stupid yet!

Dunno what all the fuss is about - been lovely and sunny, 28 deg C down here in the south of France...
Today been not doing much after saying goodbye yesterday to some UK friends who came to stay for a week.
Saturday will involve pulling up floorboards to trace the persistent squeak/bounciness in one area. Have to get that sorted as I'll be building stud walls to make a bedroom out of part of the attic, which will be tiled over afterwards.
Sunday is wedding anniversary so it will be whatever Mrs Mango wants...

There is no cloud, just somebody else's computer.

Well I'm up in Scotland for an enduro MTB race, my first race in almost 3 years. I could be doing without it, my mental health took a dive in the last few days and my head is very much elsewhwre. Been quite wet up here but the ground doesn't look too bad. Back on Sunday evening.

Had the scabby wee dug out when the sun was gong down and it was a Red Sky at Night kind of sky so may be a nice day tomorrow. Few days rain has prevented me from gardening at home and half my customers so probably spend the day on catchup. Sunday they can all sod off as i refuse to work a Sunday but have a few small things to do in the camperbus so probably get on with that
