What you need is a nice van.
Lol send me an extra £8000 and I'll buy one today.

What QS did you fit Weeksy? If it’s a Translogic then I’m not surprised, I fitted one to my GSXR after using HM on all my race, track and road bikes etc and it was the best by far. Loved it!

I saw this on Friendface Marketplace (but I know Weeksy doesn't do Friendface so heres the t'bay link)...

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/125450044484

It looks a bit rough around the edges (MC res held on with a ziptie, etc..)

But that's a lot of bike with a lot of bolt on go faster bits and a V5 for £4k?

Just buy a wee shitter, my race van was much cheaper than that.

So there's good news and bad....

Good... Silverstone done and of course the bike works like a dream.

Bad.... I reckon it's got warped discs. Not badly... but a bit... I then mentioned it to the wife and she says "i told you it sometimes has a judder when i go into turn XYZ.." .... Errrrm not sure that was how i interpreted what she said.. but i can see a new set on by either Pembrey or at least next year.

If they're not too bad an engineering company could skim them for you, as long as you don't exceed them minimum thickness.

Loads cheaper than new discs.

If they're proper warped, get some PFM ductile iron discs, best upgrade... EVER!

You've gone and spoilt the surprise!😂. Imagine the length of thread regarding keeping them clean!

Have you fitted new front pads very recently ....... i did have a warped disc right after new pads were fitted on my 636 and when the pads were checked one was slightly out of true on the mount. This caused the disc to warp really badly. Once i proved the pad was fecked then Carbon Lorraine stumped up for new pads and dics and they also lobbed in a pair of Brands Hatch WSB freebies as an apology/good will gesture

Well it's now end of season so i guess it's time for the ZX6R to get a bit of love.

Already ordered are a pair of Brembo Serie Oro discs for the front end chatter.

Next up is wheels out, fairing off type clean.... Although now i've started there's little point as it's mostly spotless lol.

The way she’s riding I would think she qualifies for a fork and shock upgrade at the very least?😃

Well that's a question i've asked myself at times, then i give the bike to @Tricky or @Couchy and they both say "that's bloody brilliant"... Neither of them come in even mentioning the handling at all... Hence i completely leave that part alone. I've thought, "should i get them serviced" but really is there any point unless there's an actual issue i'm looking to resolve...

Maybe, possibly... i'm not sure. Lets be honest, it's overdue.... but as i say... people love it who i trust.

The point is you get to spend money on lovely blingy bike bits😂
But seriously, your right, if there are no issues why bother?

Better suspension needs properly set up. If it ain't broken, don't fix it.

What? As oppose to standard suspension not needing touched 🤔 and I’m the fucking idiot!

I can't even recall but i think I got my mate at MSG Racing to set it up for us with the standard stuff. But as i say... i'm not sure I/we care as far better riders than us are not noticing any issues.
