LOL you're the one with 12 vans, cars, bikes and about to retire... i'm the one struggling. I'm using the forum money to pay for my tracktime.

And me :D

I'll be camping , well, my version of it which is basically sleeping in the van, Friday night.
Not currently sure exactly what time I'll be leaving but I'll be aiming to get to the circuit for as soon after 6 as I can

if you (or any of my fellow campers who are riding down ) would like me to pick up any beer / other bulky or heavy stuff on the way, post your orders up here :obscene-drinkingcheers:

We’re aiming to get down there as close to 6pm as we can as well, and will hopefully have a Gazebo with us if we can make it fit,
might have to leave the generator behind, not too worried about not having tyre warmers, more concerned about not having the means to boil a kettle 😂
@weeksy hope your taking some veggie burgers for a limp wristed vegetarian builder?🤣
Will post some money through your letterbox for James and my self’s barbie fee’s.
(I can bring my own burgers😜)

Lol first time you've mentioned it mate. Don't worry about cash until day.

Do you need your own BBQ for cooking, utensils? We've done it before.

@Tricky I'll have a case of Stella, cans please. 10 pack or whatever you can find. Do you do contectless 😆👍 I'll probably stop at chippy somewhere. Last time I rode down I came from the Carmarthen direction and found one on the left somewhere, big carpark on the front. Think the @Bigyin chippy is the other way, been there aswel, nice. 👍

I'm bringing my new ' no expense spared ' camping stove for communal use, if anyone needs. Peanuts, biscuits, good to go. 👍

@weeksy , thanks Steve, no, not a proper full blown ethical veggie, just never liked proper meat, so happy to plonk them on the same barbecue if that’s ok?
See you down there. 👍

Cheers for the offer @Tricky , i was looking to travel lightly with top box and roll bag but as weather might be poor on way home on Sunday i'll be travelling there and back, as my journey is "not just up the road" as Alan put it, in goretex kit so have to pack leathers as well as all the camping kit including my chair so the full pannier set up has been dusted off and packed tonight with most of what i need. You might need the big GT ones this size next time you take Isabella into Europe on the bike ;)

I'll get the tent all set up first then head into town for supplies for the weekend

I'm going to doing 180 miles in leathers on Sunday. I just don't have any space to take waterproofs.

My trip is 350 there Friday and 350 back home Sunday ;)

Too long to risk leathers getting wet and them soaking through ...... plus the bike has full luggage so might as well use it properly them strip it down for the track on Saturday

To be honest, as long as I get there dry then it should be fine. I can dry off when I get home on Sunday.

@tricol Can't you strap some waterproofs on top of your luggage or summot like, easy access. 🤷🏻‍♂️

@tricol

Even a one piece that folds up into a bag and you can bung round your waist

you can get one for about 35 quid and saves you getting soaked and cold.

I will be bringing a pair of 10 quid leggings and a waterproof walking jacket to lob over the leathers to keep riding even if it rains Saturday as my textiles arent allowed on track

Need to start organising the kit later.... It's going to get a bit bonkers as always as there are matresses, there are fridges, then all the riding kit, then the BBQ, the Gennie... it's going to be a long evening of packing all the kit.

One good thing about camping, the only one I think, 🤔 is I can put more luggage on without having to drag it up the stairs at the Premier Inn. Will use tankbag for easy access stuff, rollback for everything else and topbox for fuel. Sorted. 👍

I have some light waterproofs, I'll just have to try and pack them somehow. They're not motorbike specific, but they should help a little. Weather looks a mixed bag for Saturday now. I hope Pembrey is grippy enough in the wet

You can potter around at your own pace in the rain (as always) and see how you feel. Just enjoy not having on coming traffic for a bit :)
