I've a TDR with a slightly iffy tank that I'd like to replace. I'm not keen on the look of the tank anyway so that points me to a different tank. The first problem is that the TDR has a twin spine frame, see photo, that's about 150mm wide overall. Any other bikes have something similar?
I'm considering an XS250 tank, the proportions are OK, except the central slot, and I bought four of them cheap before I gave the frame any consideration.

Re: TDR250 frame, twin spine
It's going to be difficult. I think the TDR frame is pretty unique, most are single spine or twin spar.
Maybe best to get a tank you like and make it fit. It won't be easy to make it look like it grew there.

I guess you're junking the fairing/rad covers then, cos they aint ever going to fit with a different tank.

Yes. It's got underslung pipes already so just a normal tank and headlight.
TBH, it's probably look like a dog's breakfast, but it's modded already so I'll not make it much worse.
