My Porsche had all sorts of fancy electrical nonsense and it used to drive me mad, it was like having a laptop on the dash when all I wanted was radio 4.
FOr most of the time the DAB will honestly do me. The trip to Alps on Thurs obviously over the water we won't get UK DAB, but as the missus is coming then it doesn't actually matter as her phone works, so she can play all her associated tunes anyway.
Careful the roaming charges and data limits.
I don't believe they exist mate. We didn't get any in Belgium, the wife didn't get any in Croatia.. I've seen something about charges, but not actually seen any.

It depends on your mobile provider, some have introduced roaming charges (mine has) and others have introduced fair usage limits. Worth checking the mobile providers website.

By a long long long long way, the Tesla has the worst interior. One lap top size screen, hideous thing. 👎👎👎

Van seats have been collected.

Had a very interesting chat with the guy who reckons it'll be back up for sale tomorrow and the boss will just shrug and move on.... Which says i made the right decision. He wasn't convinced it'll get fixed fully before being shipped out that's for sure.

The Kuga started this morning and the boy approves on the drive today.... So we're all golden.

Next up, Silverstone tomorrow for the Kuga and the ZX6R and then straight home and off to the Alps bright and early Thurs morning.

Forces radio is still on the go. They play no bad music and you get a English voice

Maybe a new battery and regular use will mask it?

I'd say unless it's left for 4-5 days then yes you're correct. It could be months before anyone would know.

It was only because I grabbed the bout of COVID that meant I didn't drive from Tuesday till Sunday. If not, I'd be non the wiser.

Is it parked or abandoned?

(Or is it just the van not getting into the spirit of joie de vivre parking? :D ).

Park the van facing the road next time, it makes for a smoother getaway.

It's deffo not quick

But it's a lovely drive.

It's got a minor judder on the front, but it's either balancing or tracking. No biggy, it's a used car and only over 70mph you get any of it.

It's comfy nice, smooth and easy. As a family, we all approve.

Although the lad wants a van still lol.

My Landrover is £200-something a year, because it's classed as a van.
If it was exactly the same in every way except having rear windows cut into it, then the tax would be £600-something.

It's not all about CO2.
The joys of vehicle class and CO2 emissions and add in the push a few years ago by HM Government to sell more diesels so vast reduction on their tax rates

The wife's Range Rover 2L Diesel is 30 quid a year tax .... both my bikes are more in tax ....at 73 quid and 101 quid each :?

My little 2L petrol Audi is about 230 quid

spin the wheel and place your bets
