loving it, its great fun, pretty sure the fit is spot on, still finding riding on the drops strange as ive never done that before.

18 miles following Mrs M on her Levo, I am a broken man.

No surprise as pines is like an XC course, there’s very few folk this side of a good XC racer that beats or keeps up with a well ridden ebike with a half fit rider on board 😃

Did a nice loop this morning from home to box hill, its good as I start work at 3 and once the little mans at nursery I get some time to do my stuff. I am trying to build a decent loop for a good workout on some nice roads, was not feeling at first though and was tempted to not go, but pleased I did.

Why do the pictures always make these features look so much smaller 😂

First proper post COVID ride today. 2 weeks since positive test. Wasn't completely terrible but wasn't amazing either. I turned into a ball of snot and sweat. But managed the distance and not a terrible speed of 18kmh which as it was all off-road isn't too poor.

There's work needed that's for sure

What where?

I meant to come back to this post because I slung it up quickly with poor reception.
Anyways...

Twisted Oaks Bike park. Me and the boy spent a few hours there on thursday. We're both pretty crap / have little confidence at jumping but by the time we left we were both starting to clear some of the smaller table tops and had a really fun day.

your lad would adore it here

the drop I'm on is at 42s. I guestimate that it's similar in size /height to the drop on GBU but the landing is much much nicer to roll out of

Tentative ride after a week of stomach bug and lack of sleep, great to be out, even if the pace wasn’t there.

Yesterday was fairly amusing.. It was like being on a trackday with a crap instructor.

"Just brake less and you'll be fine, go round the corner faster"

Well yes, if i could do that, i'd have tried it bloody years ago and be winning EWS by now lol.

In his defence we did work through some other parts like body position and cornering which hopefully helps me a little over time, i did manage to clear the last little double at the end of the trail for the first time...

We've both got a load of riding planned in the coming weeks, with him racing and me trails/racing so it's all good to get some decent bike time in.

Seemingly endless shifts is really not helping but a rare day off allowed me and the Boy Blunder a short ride on the Downs.

Day 1 of Dartmoor yesterday, damp turning to biblical. Only a few photos but riding was awesome, especially some of the local stuff. A few mechanicals, mates fox dropper needed attention (luckily Foxy of Sarf Coast Suspension was on hand for that) and another mates SRAM brake master cylinder binded after we’d sessioned the down hill stuff. Weather turned properly Dartmoor about an hour from the end and everyone’s wet gear soaked through. Poor hotel room stinks like a squash court clothing bag with all the drying gear and I’m so glad I brought my forced air boot dryer.

Dartmoor day 2, epic riding, Widowmaker was hard work due to a howling headwind and my ebikes battery range was 1/2 mile less than the 39 miles of riding(in its defence I was towing my no. Ebiked friend up a considerable number of hills).

Utterly brutal day today, fortunately the rain blew threw overnight. Huge climbs, boulder strewn descents, multiple low speed offs on slippy rocks (I dread to think what I’m going to find when I clean the bike tmrw).

A paltry 17 miles and 3500ft of climbing, with a fair bit of hike a bike.
