IF they removed the Ducati logos, you'd swear it was a KTM though... not that that's a bad thing as such... but it's very KTM... I expect the orangeness plays a factor in that of course.

Should have used an old square case bevel drive motor.

Nah. They've made the trellis look like a set of weird crash-bars or some sort of lifting cradle that gets removed after the bike has shipped. Looks quite a neat bike under the scaffolding.
Oh yeah...mirrors.

I watched the entire series on YouTube. He's a talented and engaging chap and has come a long way with his mechanical skills over the last few years. The process for creating that bodywork needed both skillz, plus the patience of a saint.
I'm not a fan of the finished bike though. The monster is a fairly pretty bike out of the box, hard to alter it and make it better.

Actually looks like an electric bike to me, especially from the non exhaust side (obviously!).

Not sure there's much 'playing' with those angles! Makes me sad as the Monster 600 looks good without edges!!

Why would you want to make a Ducati, or any other bike for that matter, look like an electric bike?
Edit: And it's got armpit mirrors.

My thoughts exzactly. The radiator area just screams battery compartment.Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Tue Aug 16, 2022 8:07 am Actually looks like an electric bike to me, especially from the non exhaust side (obviously!).
