It's a strike! It has it all.

Brown seat - tick.

Large triangular gap - tick.

Pod filters - tick.

Extra marks for brown grips and brown belt holding the tank - tick.

Radical riding position - tick.

Stupidly unsilenced pipes - tick.

Oversized front tyre - tick.

Points deducted for not using knobblies.

Wow, that's a full house.

Brown seat. Check
Brown grips. Check
Stupid tyres. Check (need bigger writing on though)
Hole in frame. Check
Mirrors angled so that you can groom your beard rather than see behind you. Check
Riding position that'll be uncomfortable even to look at. Check.
Exhaust pipe cut to put hot gasses up your overly short hipster trousers. Check.

You missed one. Stupid mirrors. (Extra point for being too small to properly check your armpits).

They are not unlike the mirrors on my bike,so I let that one roll.

There really is a check list that wannabe purveyors to the beardy hipster set have to conform to, and this one (as my learned fiends have already alluded to) ticks pretty much every box.

I actually quite like the finish they've got on the tank and seat hump, but then they wrap a ridiculous leather belt around the tank with two D-rings that will chatter away and mark the tank within the first twenty miles (if it even gets ridden that far).

What a pointless life of human waste.

Well it's nicer that some of the snoozeworthy retro-restores to almost bog-stock-shiny we've had recently.

As alluded to in one of the other threads - there's really only 2 people who need to like it: the builder and the owner.

If they're both happy then who cares what the rest of us think. :)

According to my “doth protest too much” theory, they must be 40 quid Indonesian “Kingfisher” brand.

Seems like it's all been said, covered and listed, so just a simple thumbs down for me. Shame, as the engine could grace a lot better a bike.
