Post by Mr Moofo »

Well, I probably don't, but I bough one anyway
Bugger that - I will post it when Flikr decided to let me!

That’ll be perfect for those boulder strewn massive Sussex Alps descents.😂

Very nice.

In case you think it's mine, it's @Mr Moofo 's bike that @weeksy couldn't see. I seem to have somehow got around the Flickr "sharing" restriction ...

The bike is not bad, either ... :king:

Interesting combo of long reach - but a short top tube ( to get you riding on the front). Very steep seat angle

First ride yesterday
6cm shorter top tube that the FlareMax - but didn't really seem like it.
Heavy beast - but I think I prefer it to the Cotic! Front forks set far too stiff... Oddly for a long travel bike , it climbs really easily.

And it creaked - but that was because the saddle was about to fall off!

Actually rather good - very stable at speed down hill ( but will be helped when I have fettled the forks). Pretty good up hill - but it won't win any XC races ( but then, neither will I)

It is my first time of ever using a SRAM groupset - and it is not bad ( other than the only on way gear changer). The Avid brakes felt rubbish and wooden - but with fettle to bring the span back towards the bars they became infinitely better.

Did’nt use it today - went out on the FlareMax - and despite the 6cm top tube, it didn't feel that different!
