I'm in a teams meeting about policy. I don't think I've ever been so bored by something that actually has no relevance to me anyway. I've pissed off and got a cup of tea and they're still waffling. When will it end!! :wtf:

Just been on a similar 'Show and Tell' of the new SWIFT XML format for payment messages. I swear at one point I nodded off. At one point a bloke did a demo of something, by running something on the screen for 2 minutes, it did something and then he declared it a great success. No idea.

Sitting at home on the sofa bench thing and looking at the mountains (Mont Blanc is covered with cloud sadly) and enjoying a fresh breeze from the open window

Yesterday was my first full day at home and damn it was hot in my apartment! I think I may have got a bit too used to climate control in the hospital room   but equally, I was moving stuff and sorting stuff, so didn't help myself

Bloody lovely to be home and have windows open and see the amazing views - even just being able to walk around outside without being eaten my mosquitos is fantastic!!

Today is a lot cooler but if it stays at 29 for the rest of the summer up here, I'll just be happy to be home!! (It won't, normal is up to 24 :D )

Happy days, happy view. Probably should go and make a cup of tea to further enjoy the view!!

Submitted advanced passenger info to P&O. Checked the wife had registered her NHS app on her new phone, but she hadn't  so set that up. Now reading Gov.uk website about covid restrictions/entry requirements for France. If I have this right as long as I can show my NHS covid record with QR codes proving I have had 2 jabs and 1 booster I'm good to go and don't need an anti gen test? ANyone confirm that's correct?
TIA

There's been a storm threatening all morning. I could see the storm over the mountains on the other side of the valley. Always cool to watch the cloud formations and movement of the storm.

I had physio for an hour and half this morning and since I've been back I've basically watched the view change until the cloud and a bit of rain arrived.

Now, we have thunder too

Later/tomorrow we are back to full on sun, still with awesome views!!

I love where I live :D :D :D :D

My brain is starting to turn back to normal. Registered my Mum's death today. I have started clearing her house of all the medical supplies/drugs so it looks like a home, rather than a hospital and we can start remembering her when she was well and full of life. My two sons have been great, we're all helping each other along. My brother is coming down on Monday and we'll start the funeral arrangements. Thank you all for your thoughts and words :obscene-drinkingcheers:

You spent a lot of time and effort caring for your mum. Now you can look after yourself too.

There will be lots of companies/agencies/people you need to register her death with, most will be done fairly quickly. You'll think it's all done and a couple of weeks later another will pop up reopening the wound, it takes a while.

Brace yourself if dealing with Vodafone, by all accounts.

Sat in Trowell services on the M1 with a suspected broken timing chain. Well I haven't got one, my car has.

They're supposed to be fit for life and this one wasn't making any rattles etc. Engine just completely died out of the blue.
