Techtronics Racing Adjustable QSLU2 Quickshifter £100
Techtronics Racing Adjustable QSLU2 Quickshifter.
Adjustable - both triggering force and cut time - compression rod (to be clear, that means the rod is pushing the gear lever when changing up the gearbox) stand alone quickshifter. The rod can be used with any other type of quickshifter or ECU (back in the day the Foggy Petronas WSB team used Techtronics rods with their MoTeC ECU's). Rod length is 230mm eye to eye but can be shortened by 60mm by removing a machined section, the length is also adjustable more finely by screwing in or out the rose joints on either end.
The quickshifter is a stand alone unit that cuts ignition, so can be used with carbed as well as fuel injected bikes.
The main wiring harness is present but will require an understanding of vehicle electrics/principles of quickshifters to wire in (wiring diagrams and instructions and "how to" guides are available on many forums) and the isolating switch is missing (but any on/off switch can be wired in).
These are the best part of £400 new, the price reflects the condition of mine.
I bought this for use on a project bike, but after testing it I boxed it up and it has sat in my storage unit for several years. I've tested it again and it is all working as it should.
