Where?
For example.

There were also similar scenes of travel disruption across other European countries, as the peak vacation season gets underway.

In France, traffic was particularly dense around Paris and between Lyon and Valence on Saturday.

Authorities recorded a peak of 790 kilometres (490 miles) of traffic jams Saturday lunchtime on the main roads used by holidaymakers.

This peak was lower than the 930 kilometres (577 miles) recorded in France a year ago.

The situation was "in line with forecasts", indicated the Bison Futé website, which classified traffic conditions in the Rhône-Alpes region as black, the worst rating, orange at the national level and red in the Mediterranean arc in the return direction.

In Croatia, as the tourist season reaches its peak, traffic has increased on all roads heading towards tourist destinations on the Adriatic coast.

Jelena Ivulić, a coordinator for the Croatian national sea shipping company, Jadrolinija, told Euronews passengers had been arriving in waves since the early hours of Saturday morning, with large crowds forming at the entrances of ferry ports.

They expect over 75,0000 passengers and over 15, 0000 vehicles across the weekend.

In Switzerland, holiday traffic at the Gotthard north portal was backed up for 15 kilometres with waiting times of up to 2 and a half hours.

It's not like they don't have form for it
Kent County Council said only three out of a potential seven booths had been available overnight at French border control.

At one stage only one French officer was available to check passengers on hundreds of coaches, resulting in each coach taking 40 minutes to process, said the council.

Operation Brock was designed to hold 2,000 HGV's on the M20, with Operation Dover TAP holding another 500 closer to Dover. On Saturday, there were 3,000 HGV's being held on the M20 with another 500 on the A20, so 3,500 HGV's blocking Kent's motorway system.

Manston Airport (anyone remember that?) was supposed to hold 4,000 HGV's in the event of port/tunnel disruption, leaving Kent's motorways to flow as normal. It was decomissioned last year.
Operation Brock: Planners claim Manston airport is not needed to avoid disruption on Kent's roads
The makeshift lorry park at Manston which opened last winter is to shut for good at the end of this month. The government has confirmed it will not extend its use of the airport beyond June 30, when the current lease expires.
If you roll the 'r' when saying 'Brock', it sounds a bit French. Hmmmm....

We’re glad to expand the choice of Lada cars by resuming production of our legendary off-road vehicle in the Classic ’22 configuration
I'm sure that the Russian people's patriotic euphoria will make up for car designs reverting back 4 decades.

Not your normal cop car -

Czech police add Ferrari taken from criminals to fleet
Police in the Czech Republic have unveiled the latest addition to their fleet of cars - a Ferrari capable of speeds up to 326km/h (202mph).

Police said the car had been confiscated from criminals.

The €12,000 (£10,180; $12,255) cost of converting it for police use was about the same as buying a new Skoda hatchback, they added.
Jiri Zly, head of the police's traffic department, said the Ferrari would, among other things, be used against "the most aggressive drivers" on Czech roads.

The Czech police has hundreds of confiscated vehicles that come from criminals and are used to combat serious criminal activity throughout the country, police said.

From the report on the racism in Scottish cricket.
Someone needs lessons in maths ;)

The operation of Cricket Scotland has now been placed in special measures, which means Sportscotland has effectively taken control until October 2023.

A new Cricket Scotland board must be in place by September 2022 and consist of 40% male and 40% female, with at least 25% from an ethnic minority

This is a bit of a conundrum.

I'm all for everybody to have the right to be or do whatever they like, as long as it's legal.

I also feel strongly about my right to support them (or not) in any way I choose.
I won't be forced to support anybody.

Not at all. British tourists now have to fulfill the requirements that all other Third Country Nationals have had to fulfill for ever.

This is what Brexit means. The UK is no longer in the Eu and so tourists are TCNs. That means different rules - you know, the rules all tourists from non EU countries have been following for ever.

Britain negotiated a Third Country exit deal - this is one of the results

Not true. If you have a hotel booked or return plane/ferry, it's OK.

I know loads of folk on a motorhome forum and it's never been applied. Yet.

Dont ever recall anyone in my family coming from OZ or NZ ever saying they had to prove how much spends they have. Spain can do whet they want as i doubt i will be visiting the place any time soon. Time is limited now with driving holidays due to the greens thinking the world will end soon so when that time comes and i start flying again for the sun it will be a country further afield who are more welcoming.
