I thought he had the leadership qualities of a blind sheep.

:)

You can hardly describe the Tories as lions, but there's usually a 'greater good' aspect to it now.

Seems that Starmer and everyone else working in the office at Durham has no case to answer and will not therefore be prosecuted. Or have to resign like he said be would if he were to be prosecuted.

Looks like that smear attempt backfired massively for the Daily Mail.

But he got it done, sent them back and defended the statues! It was what the northern poor wanted.

Though, it comes as no surprise that Durham police haven't found a case to follow, since Joy Allen, the Durham PCC was also at the party.

However, I get the feeling that it's left some disappointed people at the centre left of Labour, as with Starmer and Rayner at the helm, the party has little chance of coming out of this and into government.

Additionally, the likes of Lammy etc still under investigation for breaching the MPs code of conduct for not disclosing financial interests - something which Starmer too is still under investigation for, things aren't too rosey with what's supposed to be an opportunity to have a credible alternative.

Oh :(

People that don't usually buy them will now panic buy. We get through a lot in tagines n' stuff. (Tend to do a lot of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cooking. If there's a preserved lemon shortage I'm emigrating. :( ).

(I know, I know, you can preserve them yourself - and have done - but Beldi are  )

Nope, I love olives, but finding them in a stew is like finding a rabbit turd in a current bun.

Lots of talk of tax cuts from many of the contenders along with reversing the NI hike that came into effect this year. That's the hike that only 10 Tories voted against :eh:

Meanwhile, Sajid Javid explains his decision making process :eh:
It might sound a bit strange but I was listening to the sermon by this amazing man, Reverend Les Isaac...I was listening to him talking about the importance of integrity in public life and, just focusing on that, I made up my mind. I went straight back to my office and drafted the resignation letter and went to see the prime minister later in the day.
We believe you Sajid, honest :D
