What did Willy Shakespeare say? 'Some are born great, some achieve greatness and others have greatness thrust upon them'. I suppose her greatness, or celebrity to stay in keeping with this thread, was thrust upon her in the most unfortunate of circumstances.

Fair play to her turning a negative into a positive, if not for her, but for others.
Very brave lady ad let's be honest ; for a dying lady she was still incredibly beautiful! and Not pale, drawn and wasted like one might expect a bowel-cancer victim to appear!! Great Respect for doing what she did before her time ran out!!

Not a bad innings for an old biker with a colourful history.
He dodged a bullet or two in his day,for sure.
Literally?

James Caan.

He was great in the Godfather, though I admit I didn't know he was still alive.

Superb goalkeeper and once of the best to wear the national jersey in goal....happily watched him for a few years as the Rangers keeper too ..... I heard about his cancer diagnosis and his decision to forgo treatment invcase it knocked him to shit to gain a few months extra

Loved Rollerball

I remember being a member of the school cinema club and they showed it when i was about 14/15 despite the fact it was an 18 at the time ...it had bikes in it so what not to love and pretty much action all the way ;)
