Makita Refurb Stuff?
I want a couple of new 3.0 Ah Makita batteries which are £59 on Screwfix. But for barely a tenner more, I can get the same 2 batteries, 2 refurb drills and a charging unit. Seems a no brainer really

And what's the Impact driver ?

The wrench is great if you are using a lot of screws into wood or even the self drilling tapping screws into metal are a breeze. Think its powered up to 150Nm so should do some light bolt removal on your car/bike

Re: Makita Refurb Stuff?
Impact screwdrivers are basically a screwdriver version of a windy gun.
Great for putting big screws in, not so much for very small screws.
I use mine almost everyday and you can be (with practice) be gentle with em.
Some people struggle with the idea that they don't have to pull the trigger fully every time. They're just numb.
Also good for removing small ish bolts.

Re: Makita Refurb Stuff?
I was looking at the refurb batteries. Its cheaper buying them new than using screwfix

Having said that if i seen the refurb section i probably would have got the combo set from there.
