Last motd in 2012 and "it'll be fine". I must remember that next time I sell a vehicle.

Re: Spot the error Rocket Gold Star
I want a 70 year old bike about as much as I want a 70 year old telly.

I have a 70yo radio that has a much better tone than anything modern when it comes to AM.

"Only six owners since 1984" seems like a weird metric.
Presumably it had 322 ones before 1984.

MOT exempt anyway. The vehciles which are the most likely to fall apart and/or be maintained by an old giffer with failing eyesight and the ones which don't require a safety inspection.

Re: Spot the error Rocket Gold Star
IIRC a favourite sport in the 60/70/80s was taking a bog standard BSA 500 and modifying it to at least look like a Goldstar. With a 1984 reistration I would be VERY suspicious.
And a Rocket is something else entirely.

Re: Spot the error Rocket Gold Star
A registration date of 1984 for an alleged '50s Goldie would set alarm bells ringing for me. With this age of bike provenance is everything, and that's precisely what's missing.
