That was Michael Dunlop in the first Superbike race at the NW200 last Saturday. Blamed on a faulty batch of Dunlop rear slicks. The affected tyres looked horrible - delaminated. The factory advised riders using these tyres not to ride in the second race. MD, Peter Hickman and half a dozen others didn't go out - a pity as it depleted the field of some good riders, but understandable.
