Makes a nice change with them not using a CX as the base bike.
Doesn't do much for me, too many of the usual niggles.

Nicely done, but I can't think of a more insipid bike to build a cafe racer out of, apart from an XS250.

Not sure that they've got away with making a "solid" rear wheel. From the photos you can see the imperfections in the disc that they screwed to the original(?) wheel. It'll look even worse in real life.
Oh, and the brown seat.
Yeah, I know - it's easy to criticise.

CX or GL - not much difference other than the outward styling, surely?

It's a great job.
But you'd think you'd regret not powering it with something that had a bit more zip.

Where's the tyre valve?
Style? Not a word often associated with the CX
Even bland can be a type of character

I like some bits. Bit of a dufus move with the rear wheel though, right ballache to check tyre pressures.

I've seen nicer CX jobs.

We need a deadpan smiley, and that bike is very easy to criticise.Lutin wrote: ↑Thu Jun 23, 2022 7:46 am Not sure that they've got away with making a "solid" rear wheel.
