TBH I always thought upon retiring and hading back 35 years of company car ownership, that I would have a Porsche of some sort on the drive.
Test drove a few - they were lovely. They were focused.
Driving down to Chichester to buy an immaculate Caymen, It took me 2.5 hours from Shoreham, because of traffic - in which time I had convinced myself that having a sports car ins the SE is absolutely pointless.

I have a soccer-mum's SUV - however it does have 315 bhp ( more that the cayman) and is only 0.1 sec slower 0-60). But I can get the dog in the back, get out of it easily to do the shopping, and it is comfortable on long journeys.

It is a bit of what used to be called a "Q" car.

I was following an enormous (I think) RS-Q8 the other day, and, tbh, I couldn't think of a bigger waste of resources or cash.

They are the kings of the TLGP - about 600bhp and 600 ft/lb as standard, through a proper quattro 4wd system (and £20 of fuel spent every time lol).
