I saw this on the BBC the other week and my first thought was that outing stories are, thankfully, not really a 'scoop' for any paper anymore as most of the world simply shrugs and turns the page. I have as much interest in Rebel Wilson's sex life as I do her preference for tea or coffee.

Some years ago The Krankies were outed in the press (The Sun, IIRC) as swingers*. To their credit, they fronted it down, stated that as consenting adults they were free to do whatever they wanted with other consenting adults and the salacious news story withered and died.


*Hence giving birth to the pub-comment to anybody with a crappy old car, 'Did you get that from a swinging party with The Krankies?', i.e. insinuating that you pulled out their car keys from the bowl and fled, notwithstanding the state of their vehicle.
