Re: Practical Sportsbikes
I saw it in Morrisons this morning and was tempted, but I'm not convinced I want to read stuff that's written by people I know.
Is Rob Weed's Z1000R in it?

No, that's BMWs, the bikes are shit and the owners smell of wee, so altogether a toilet experience.

It's been years since I bought a bike mag. They are much dearer and the paper is beyond shitty.

Rather appropriate, then, that my RT looked like a urinalLe_Fromage_Grande wrote: ↑Wed Jun 15, 2022 4:15 pmNo, that's BMWs, the bikes are shit and the owners smell of wee, so altogether a toilet experience.

Re: Practical Sportsbikes
Get the Bikes Unlimited App £7.99 a month and you get MCN, BIKE, Practical Sportsbike, RIDE, Classic Bike and Built. I sub'd over lockdown for something to read and have kept it. It's quite samie as some of the mags test the same bikes in the same month but for £8 quid a month I don't mind as there is always something to read. You also get all the back issues for about 2 odd years and I started at the beginning so I'm about a year behind still at the moment, except for MCN which I skim through.asmethurst99 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 15, 2022 6:42 pm I buy em every month but PS is over 5 quid now …I like to read them in the Bath

That does look like something you'd see in a town square in France for pissing in.Horse wrote: ↑Wed Jun 15, 2022 7:33 pmRather appropriate, then, that my RT looked like a urinalLe_Fromage_Grande wrote: ↑Wed Jun 15, 2022 4:15 pmNo, that's BMWs, the bikes are shit and the owners smell of wee, so altogether a toilet experience.

Re: Practical Sportsbikes
One of my daughters buys me a subscription for my birthday every year.
Always got some good stuff but it’s getting a bit familiar.
That’s the only mag I read but I doubt if I’d buy it regularly myself.
Not having a bike of that era anymore it’s just a nostalgia trip.

Re: Practical Sportsbikes
Can't be bothered with magazines anymore. If I want to find out about a new bike/secondhand bike, there are plenty of reviewers videos on YouTube that are able to bore the pants off of me.
