Not sure who gets to decide if you are more worthy than them but it won't be you.
In the spirit of openness, everyone is reassessed annually and has a window of opportunity to do better.
You're nitpicking really. The rules will be transparent. You can't make a cake without breaking eggs.

We were all up for some sort of points system I think - who did we think was going to get the final say?

Points system for current residents:

Q1 Who do you vote for?

(Us = 1000 points Not us = - 1000 points. )

Seriously, the Rwanda ploy may, or may not, be a waste of money. Time will tell. But how would the RTTL massive suggest we deter economic migrants and people smugglers from abusing the asylum system? Or do we welcome everyone, with no limit until the island is full?
Make all current UK residents reapply for residency using a points system. Non qualifiers go straight to Rwanda.
New migrants are similarly graded, fails to Rwanda.
New entries are subject to a space being freed up (death).
If no slots are free and the new migrant scores high then the resident with the least points, you guessed it, Rwanda.

Fairness, diversity, it'd keep you on your toes. Plus no blaggards and ne'er-do-wells.

If Rwanda became a melting pot of disaffected thickets, goons and villains then I can't see a problem with that because it's like really far away.
Let them take their dangerous dogs to sink estates on the outskirts of Kigali.

You do wonder whether the sink estates of Kigali are really any worse than the sink estates of Huddersfield and Bradford? I mean the weather must be better for starters. Probably some of them would volunteer to go - whether Rwanda really needs a load of factory storesmen and nail bar beauticians is probably moot - but maybe they just don't know they need them yet!

Simple immigration answer - don't let anyone in, it's completely fair.

We get hundreds here from Africa.
Must be brave as it's 85 miles heading for a small island with howling winds.

At least when they leave France they don't need to be great navigators to hit England.

I reckon a lot of Brits would volunteer to go. 👍
