WEll option 2 is a roll of insulation tape.... that works reasonably well and a fraction of the cost... but looks shitter.

I was going to go cheap with 3m helicopter tape, but I'll see - it will just get wrecked without anything though.
I've got pedals, and some new shoes to buy. I don't want to go clipless on this one really.

That looks mint. You'll love it. I thought my orange t-130 was one of the best looking bikes ever.
Flat pedals with some 5:10s or Ride Concepts and you're away.

Cheers, yep I’m enjoying it so far.
I went to twisted oaks yesterday, first time doing trails, jumps etc. and it was loads of fun. Just trying to work out when I can get back!
We spent most of the time doing their xc course, then some table tops and jumps (didn’t stack it but didn’t get much air either!). The xc course had a few drops and jumps with a fast section with berms, lots of fun too and the first time I’d ever ridden berms.
All in all an awesome day that showed me I’ve got a lot to learn. It’ll be fun though!

Sorry to be a numpty, these rims are taped already aren’t they? So just grab a valve and some sealant and I’m good to go?
Cheers as always!

It’s just the light i think, there’s no holes. The light in the garage is dim as hell, and the tape is semi transparent brown stuff
The rims are meant to be tubeless ready so you’d presume that’s tubeless tape right?

Just buy some 3M vinyl from eBay and a hair dryer…
I am not big on invisiframe kits - but then I don’t change frames that often

A lot of rubber is getting really really easy now. I'd say more than 50% of swaps i now do are just using a track pump instead. But my 'airshot' still stays here for just in case moments of course.

Re: Anyone have experience of the Whyte t-130?
I've got all my tubeless kit arriving tomorrow - I bought some tape just in case, but the stuff that's on there actually looks ok, those photos aren't the best and it doesn't look quite so bad in real life!
Grabbed a set of brake pads, and a sram edge adapter to bleed the brakes too. Might actually get a chance to ride the thing at some point...
Looking at trying Chicksands Bike Park next too

Chicksands is a BIG step up compared to Oaks. I'm not saying NO... but... well, be aware.
Me and the small one are doing Rogate on the 2nd July if you fancy, there's easy, mid and impossible trails.
