Never have such a bunch of miserable buggers been in the same place (other than Old Trafford on a Saturday afternoon of course)
If I still commuted into the office I'd be taking Friday afternoon off to see it, 5 quid a seat and guaranteed less than half a dozen other people there, who wouldn't...
But I'll be buggered if I'm paying closer to a tenner to listen to 100+ people eat, fart, chat, piss about with their phones, walk in an out for a piss or more sodding noisy snacks.

The below is the one thing WFH has but a kybosh on;

Well, I've seen it. Exactly as expected really...

Cheesy plot? Check.
Cheesy dialogue? Check.
Tom cruise's cheesy smile? Check.
Lots of white-teethed murican heroes saving the goddamn world for us? Check.
Every iconic moment from the original recreated in a modern setting? Check.
That weird thing cruise does to twitch a tendon in his cheek to indicate emotion? Check.

Not exactly a classic but perfectly watchable, in a predictably cheesy way.

Just seen it tonight- wasn't expecting much, but it was far better than I thought it would be- cheese everywhere as expected but I didn't yawn once and kept me interested all the way through, and if there is any film to see on the big screen, this is the one IMO.
He's got a load of old bikes ( of course including his Tomcat from the first film), and he's got pillion pegs on his H2 8-)

Great entertainment- Loved it

I wonder why Kelly McGellis wasn't in the sequence?

Saw it on the weekend. First time to the picture theatre in over 3 yrs.

Plot full of holes and proper cringeworthy in places

But, also bloody awesome, very little CGI, proper action, flying sequences were just amazing.

And I'm totally in old man crush mode with Jennifer Connolly, what a stunning woman. Paul Bettany is a very lucky man.

He has a new (old) girl in Jennifer Connolly, and she's a different league and level of desirability than Kelly's character IMO- that's probably because I'm an old fecker ( although I still like to think of myself as a relatively fit and of course attractive to women old fecker  )

Fuck me there are some nasty pricks in the world!

Back to the film. I saw it last night and it is pure cheese with some major plot holes but by jiminy I bloody loved every minute of it.

Just watched it. Meh

I guess all those SAMs and flares generated enough heat to melt all the snow or they took so long on the mission, summer turned up. 😃

Best ilne in the film is the kid answering Mav's question early on.

Just got back from the flicks.

It's alright.

I liked the bit where Luke uses the force instead of his targeting computer to get his torpedoes down the Death star reactor vent.

Was thinking of going, so decided to watch the original.
It was so cheesy and hackneyed that we both went,'Nah'.

I managed about 15 minutes, but not from the start, a bar scene, then a flying scene, utter drivel

Think i passed that. He just met iceman for the first time. Not ready on the next channel button quite yet. Iceman or Val whats his name has had some facelift using a baseball bat.
