Re: What Happens To McCrash This Week?
Seems to be somewhat of a trait of Brit riders ruining their own luck. He did well to avoid, or cause, the carnage in the race. Fourth is a good result, but Rossi's third place was a brilliant position for a rider that has never finished in the top 10 before. As soon as McPhee started to close the gap, Rossi opened it up again.
And on another matter, just WTF did Lowes do that for?

To be fair it's the nature of bike racers to go for a gap (no matter how small) and not think of the risk, especially anyone who first raced in motorcross.

On the last lap maybe, but no need to take big risks in first few laps.Le_Fromage_Grande wrote: ↑Mon May 17, 2021 3:36 pm To be fair it's the nature of bike racers to go for a gap (no matter how small) and not think of the risk, especially anyone who first raced in motorcross.

Club motocross was like it from the start, and the whole 20 minute race was a fight, and I was nowhere near the front, apparently it was worse the closer you got to the front, I decided enduros were safer.Yorick wrote: ↑Mon May 17, 2021 3:37 pmOn the last lap maybe, but no need to take big risks in first few laps.Le_Fromage_Grande wrote: ↑Mon May 17, 2021 3:36 pm To be fair it's the nature of bike racers to go for a gap (no matter how small) and not think of the risk, especially anyone who first raced in motorcross.

You can only have so much 'bad luck' before you have to ask how much of it is self-inflicted...?

Looked like the other two crashed and he fell off in sympathy.

Re: What Happens To McCrash This Week?
I think the guy in front moved slightly to avoid the crash and McKungfu reacted to that.
